***SUPER TORQUE HIGH PERFORMANCE***
These Denso Style "Super Torque" Starters fit the following applications;
SMALL BLOCK FORD 289/302/351W A/T and 5 Speed M/T Applications with a 3/4" offset...The offset is the distance from the mounting surface of the starter to the engine side of the ring gear.
BIG BLOCK FORD 429/460/CLEVELAND Applications...
FORD FE ONLY 390/427/428(Does not fit Cleveland Applications)....
Starter Has one of the Highest Torque ratings with more efficency and no heat soak problems.
The Starter clears all headers as well as oil pans where OE starters will work. Has a 4.4:1 Gear Reduction Ratio and cranking power for up to 18:1 compression. With a lite weight starter like this at only 11 1/2 pounds, it should run you right up there with the big boys
